“Released Undergrad? What the heck does that mean?? Is that some fancy play on words, college boy?”

I know, I can hear it now. And yes, yes it is. Right now it’s just one writer, I’m hoping to expand that. I’m hoping to reach out to all the college students who are now released in some way or another.

For me, it’s many ways. I’m no longer an undergrad (I’ve joined the dark forces of grad school) and so I’ve been released. During my undergrad years, I was in a position where I couldn’t speak freely about topics or issues because I had a job to do and people to please. I’ve been released from that too. For the past four years, I was worried about opening up and sharing my views and my passions with people. Now I’m released and willing to talk.

Over time I’m hoping to gather together resources, articles, posts, comments, and people on a variety of topics there is interest in discussing. Most of the posts will be informative, many will be opinionated, and some will be downright ranting, but hopefully all of them release something – either in me, or better yet, in you.
